Julie Gilbert, an academic librarian and assistant professor at Gustavus Adolphus College, has been named the recipient of the second annual Academic Innovators Award, given by the Academic and Research Libraries Division (ARLD) of the Minnesota Library Association.
The Minnesota Department of Education, State Library Services Division, is pleased to announce the 2012 Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Competitive Grant Opportunity. State Library Services is soliciting applications from academic, public and special libraries and public school media centers that meet the eligibility guideline requirements.
This year’s event drew 6,236 attendees and 3,693 exhibitors, compared to 7,549 attendees and 2,561 exhibitors in San Diego for the 2011 Midwinter Meeting, and 8,526 attendees and 2,569 exhibitors for Boston in 2010.
