Pre-registration closed October 7—but we’d still love for you to join us at the conference!

Walk-in registrations are welcome at the conference. Just arrive on site and check in at the registration desk. Bring a completed walk-in registration form and have it ready with your payment to speed your check-in along.

(Please note: Conference meals can only be guaranteed for those who pre-registered. If you plan to register at the door, be prepared with alternative meal options, as we may not be able to serve you on site. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the MLA office.)

Note: Your registration fee includes breakfast and lunch each day. Evening meals are not included.
If you are a member of WLA, ILA, SDLA, or NDLA (surrounding the state library associations), you may register at the MLA member rate.

Confirmations:
If you register online, you will receive a confirmation page as well as an automated confirmation e-mail. Regardless of how you register, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from the MLA office within a week of processing your registration. Please note: Your registration is not complete until full payment has been received.

Cancellation/refund/no-show policy: If you need to cancel, you must make your request in writing (e-mail is fine) and remit it to the MLA office by October 9, 2009. We do not accept phone cancellations. We will refund your registration fee minus a $25 processing fee. You will receive your refund after the conference.

Substitutions: Substitutions are welcome at any time. Please complete a hardcopy registration form for the replacement registration and remit it to the MLA office with clear instructions on which original registrant is being replaced. Please note that additional fees will apply if a nonmember substitute is replacing a member registrant.

What to wear: MLA conference attendees generally dress “business casual.” Wear comfortable shoes. Layers are always a good idea at any conference facility, as rooms and common areas can vary in temperature.
